male patterned baldness?

When I was younger I used to admire a man who looked older than he was. He had the confident look of wisdom combined with the idiocy of youth (it used to be attractive). Now the idiocy has faded along with the hair line... and it's no longer attractive. I'm shocked how common the pattern is. Perhaps, I was too distract by the idiocy and mistaking it for charm. Whatever the reason, it's staring me in the face every time a man leaves.
